Good morning, can someone please help me hook up power to the receiver? How many 9 volt batteries and what is the receiver worth?

You will need several 9 volt batterys for the B+ supplies. If you are using 01A tubes, the filaments can run off of a 6 volt lantern battery, or motorcycle battery.

The value of these sets can vary a lot depending on the overall condition and whether it's original and unmodified .

Do you have a hookup sheet? If not, I can scan one and email it to you.

I have one that I operate with a battery eliminator. They are fun sets to operate once you get the hang of operating it.

Hi Ernest

If you don't alreadty have it here is the schematic:

You will need 10 - 9 volt transistor batteries in series for high voltage (B+). C battery can be 4 1/2 volts. Three penlight cells will work.

Each 01A operates on 5 volts @ .25 amps filament current so need a good size battery here.
