Audio Output Transformer, Sparton 10140

I am helping someone who is restoring a Sparton 10140.

This radio needs an audio output transformer. It has a 6F6G push-pull output stage.

I am thinking on recommending the Hammond 1609 as a replacement. This transformer has a 10000 Ohm CT primary.

Is this a good choice?

Hi Gary

Push-pull 6F6's should operate into a 10,000 load. As long as power rating is ok and a match for the speaker it will work.
