Oscilloscope info please
1/3/2001 11:02:16 AMCD
Hello all.I know I am probably in the wrong place for this question but seems like a lot of knowledgeable people here.I have read some of these threads to try to locate a manual for a Heath 25mhz scope model#4552.
Somebody made several suggestions where one might find a manual but I cannot locate one(Manualman Online had a manual for the 4225 but the model # is definitely 4552).I did find a number for Heath but I have 2 questions before I try to obtain a manual for this scope.First question-Is this scope reasonable for use by a hobbyist on audio equipment and is it worth buying a manual for? (I know-that was 2 questions) Second question-Where can I find info for this scope? At one time,I accidentally happened into the correct sight to find info for this scope but cannot remember where that sight was.I tried Heathkit.com-no dice.
Any help/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

CD,

There's a Heathkit manual site at http://www.circuitarchive.com.uk/heath.htm although they don't have your particular manual. You can post to their Heath forum and cast around for one at http://pluto.beseen.com/boardroom/q/51675

Also check out the "Q &A" column of the February 2001 issue of "Poptronics" magazine (formerly "Popular Electronics" and "Electronics Now" magazines) for a list of Internet sites that deal in manuals. Some of this same list can be found on a posting here at http://www.nostalgiaair.org/nostalgiaair/messageboard/newforum/840.htm

There's still fertile ground out there my friend!
