GE Transistor 600 Record Changer

I have a GE Transistor 600 record player that sometimes plays, I am trying to figure out how to remove the record changer from the unit. It seems there are two balance screws that are holding the unit to the case that tighten when I turn them in the counterclockwise direction. I can see between the record changer and case that the fastner is secured to these screws but will not release. Do you know how to solve this problem or where I can locate a service manual for player?

Follow On:

The two balance screws have a metal fastned attached to the bottom of them. The balance screws protrudes the fastner which have an 1/4 " elongated opening, tapered in shape and the the metal is folded at a right angle, would I need to push and force the fastners from the screws in order to remove them?

Thanks,

AW

:Those metal clips just fold right up to the screw shaft. You can then remove the turn table with screws and clips.
