Hi everyone,
I'm putting this Philco 38-7 back together and I was trying to follow some of the changes that were made in the different "RUNS" as Philco calls them. On the Rider "Changes Page 9-3" (It's part of the material I got here on NA from "resources") in the right hand column for Philco 38-7, codes 121,124 it says a 20ohm resistor was added in series with the cathode of the 6A8G. Cathode to ground connection. A couple paragraphs down under "Run #5" it says the 20ohm resistor was removed. My question is... Do I put the 20ohm in there or not? There is also another resistor change and a couple of capacitor changes. Do I incorporate these changes into the radio? Thanks so much,
Johnny

I had the same issue when restoring my Philco
89 run 121. Stick to what your radio I.D tag says...If it is a "run 121" then those changes should already have been made by the factory...If not then don't..That is my suggestion....
