Yesterday I picked up a Philco 50-1727 chassis at the local electronics surplus store for $15.00. Looks to be complete with all tubes, just appears to be coated with 58 years worth of crud/cigarette smoke. downloaded the schematic from here, looks like all it will need to be complete is an output transformer (32-8379) & speaker (36-1630) Anybody know where I could find such things or reasonable substitutes? I guess any speaker would do as long as it matches the output of whatever transformer I end up getting.
