audio transformer for freshman mastepriece

Both RadioDaze and tubesandmore sell a replacement that will work fine. These are 1:3 Stancor 53 look-alikes. You won't need the center-tapped secondary - just snip off the CT lead.

Doug:
I never snip off the center tap, just put some heat shrink and seal the end with pliers. That way, you will have a good transformer if something should happen to to make this radio impossible to repair.
