Hi guys,
I just started looking over an Echophone EC 114 that I dug out of my garage. I am going to try and see if the EC 113 schematic is close enough for government work. Does anyone know if this just had a flat dial cover or if was a formed celluloid? i could cut a pice of glass to cover the dial. Hopefully we'll get enough snow that I can have some time to work on this tonight.

GREAT SHADES of HALLI-SCRATCHERS ! . . . . vewy, vewy n i i i ce. . . .
In looking veeeeery closely on the dial covers reflective light patterning on the top and the right side. . . .doesn't that photos profile just reek of having a molded "celloloid" /
plastic molded cover.
If it would have been glass, one would find the metal /support mechanics associated with its mounting.
I'm always just finding the small staple holes inside the cabinet that mounted the original, if it is missing.

Yes, you are right it is molded celluloid and what's even better I don't have the escutcheon.
Thanks for answering!
