Grundig - no output

I have a Grundig model 2140 with no output -- total silence, not even a hum. I have verified that (1)the speaker and power output are functional (with a signal input on the grid of the EL84), (2) the dc voltage is correct - even tried replacing the selenium rectifier bridge with a silicon rectifier bridge, (3) the pin voltages of the tubes measures correct, with two exceptions: Pin 8 of the EF89 measures approximately 20% high, and Pin 8 of the ECH81 measure high. Any suggestions? THANKS! Note - I don't have a schematic for the model 2140, rather I'm using a schematic for the model 2066, which I believe is very similar. Does anyone know where I can download a model 2140 schematic? Your suggestions and recommendations are appreciated. Dale

Not even a hum with a functional output is a good thing...it means you have a well filtered power supply. Use your signal generator and work your way back until you find the section/stage that is not working. Then take voltage readings to see what component might be bad.
