working on a working on a Rogers model 12/60 chassis 7R622. The tube placement is 6A7M (Mod & Osc)
6K7M (1st IF Amp.) 75M (Diode) & 1st audio amp) 41M (output) 2X3 (Rectifier) and one more 2X3 (Rectifier)
I have searched a few tube databases online and find no Subs for these tubes. Thanks......

That probably is because some of those tubes are so function specific that they were not readily replicated.

Specifically, the 6A7 mixer and (below).

Your 6K7 has its several listed envelope variants but the sub book says that the 5732, 6U7G, 6U7, 6J7, 6S7 could also work

Your 75 might also be found as the mil version of VT75.

Your 41 might also be found as a 42. . . .some other MAJESTIC versions used a 6F6 tube.

Your last item is the real exotica, in that respect of the pair of 2X3 rectifier tubes used, that could be averted by the wiring in

of a 5Y3 tube into one 2X3 socket in the interim, and using it.

That is, unless you have to be a purist and build up your bankroll while you are waiting for that pair of 2X3’s to become available / locatable.

:Thank you Thank you. I still find it amazing that after so many years that these tube radios have been gone that we can still find the stuff we need to fix them..I have aquired more nodledge in the last few weeks from these forums to bring myself to trying to repair my old radios. It feels so good to bring these radios back. I noticed in this radio that someone has replaced the two 2X3 tubes with Diodes. This is my Xmas project to work on...... Cant wait.

......

Ahh the Canadian Rogers tubes from the 1930's. Here's a chart for subbing at least some of your tubes.

http://www.geocities.com/justradios/typeM.html

And a 1943 Canadian GE tube substitution guide that has those subs as well. Might be of some use

http://www.theoldradiofixerupperguy.com/tubesubstitutuinguide.html

Syl (Old Radioz) has a chart on his site regarding the 2x3 and maybe he'll see this post and send it along to you.

Best regards

:Just to add Ed was right the money (as usual) 80)regarding the 5Y3G sub for the 2X3's. A 5Y4G or 80 could be used as well but one of the 2X3 sockets would have to be changed to accomodate the new tube..
