Fuse for Zenith Royal 7000?
11/23/2008 11:26:33 PMTimothy S.
All of a sudden, my Zenith Royal 7000 shortwave radio does not have power. I checked the voltage at the end of the wire (to the unit), good power, but nothing to the radio. I looked inside, made certain the switch was to '115 v', and checked again, no go. Any ideas guys? Thanks, Timothy S.

I don't think there is a fuse as such. The transformer has internal protection. Check the primary of the transformer with an ohm meter, then the secondary. Don't overlook the simple such as a bad on off switch.

Have you tried it with batteries? At least that would tell you if it's just the AC power suppy or not.
