Valuation is tough; there are Grundig collectors, but strictly from the standpoint of investment for the future- the only honest answer is "maybe".
If you like the looks of the console, and it is in good condition, valuation is only important for insurance purposes.
They are not as highly valued as a Zenith "Robot Dial", but they are worth more to a collector than a similar vintage tube AM portable made by RCA.
If you do need a schematic- assuming there is not one to work from inside of the cabinet, Sams has that available in in the "servicer" of folder 614. (www.samswebsite.com)
: Could anyone provide more information on a recent garage discovery? It's a Grundig Majestic radio/phonograph, model 7063. I'd like to know when it was built and the approx. value to help decide if it's worth restoring. It lights up when powered on but I can only tune static. Any information would be helpful.
