:Greetings, I have a radiola 526. I opened the chassis to look at the caps for a recapping and found the electrolytic's that are in the radio as 30 and 20 (2 in 1 with black common). However, the schematic reads 50 and 30. I am somewhat confused as I am a beginner at restorations. Can someone please verify that I am reading the schematic correctly and that what is in the radio is wrong or vice versa.
:Thank you,
:Vinny
If so, the schematic does, indeed, show 30- and 50-uF filter caps (first cap after rectifier is 30). So, it seems that your filter caps are not original - possibly replaced years ago? Not unusual - modern or old-time repairmen might have used what they had on hand.

:Also, there are besides the black common, a red and a green wire attached to the dual electrolytic. I have a feeling that someone just threw anything in there for this radio to work just to be sold as working. Do the red and green have assigned values?
:Also I noticed the the 35Z5GT/G tube lights up very bright instantaneously when the on/off switch is turned on.
:Thank you,
:Vinny A.
