:Hi ,
: I am rewiring a rca t6-1 mostly because of the shape it was in . There was a wire going to the grid cap of
:the osc & det .Looked rough so I cut it in two places .Then I noticed it was basically a wire wound resistor .And it is listed as a resistor (r19-22ohms) on the print . Can't solder it not copper .had spring like end connectors even on the cap end .It is only an 1-1/2 long or so.It is high resistance for so small a length of wire.Question is.Can I just replace this with a resistor ? Or how can I make a wire like this up using what kind of wire ? Being on the oscillator tube and det I imagine the resistance needs to be there but is it also some sort of inductor (choke)for this circiut? Thanks for any help I am not sure on this one!

:Check for previous posts on flexible resistors but I posed a similar question and was advised to simply replace it with a normal resistor of required ohms and watts.
