You might try heating the filament pins (1 & 4) and remove the old solder and reapply fresh solder to the pins. I have found a few times in the past that some tubes I had had intermittent filaments and I found the wire from the tube filament to tube pin wasn't making good contact anymore and after resoldering the intermittent was solved.

:Looking it up in the database here, it looks like a UX 171A is a substitute, for parallel filament operation only.
