Fixing a white urea cabinet
11/5/2008 2:53:03 PMG. Berg
Hi all I have a small Silvertone white urea plastic cabinet with a hole punched in it measuring roughly 1/2 square. I would like to patch it up..Question...HOW? i do not wat to just epoxy hole shut and paint it...Don't wana paint cabinet...I though I could maybe take a piece from the inside grind up into a powder and mix with epoxy fill hole and go through the process of sanding..smoothinG ect...ANY GOOD SUGGESTIONS THAT MAY WORK BETTER?

I remember seeing a radio restoration on the internet a long time ago. The restorer was restoring a radio which ran on 32 VDC from an old farm wind turbin.

The radio had a hole in its bakalite case. The restorer merely used bondo. The results were impressive. He put a lot of work in it, of course.

Best Regards,
