I acquired this tabletop set some time ago and can't ID it for the life of me. Has an airplane dial, which is labeled as: 5.5-160, 1.7-5.0, 6.0-18.0. Has a small brass plate on the bottom front reading "Marshall". Also has an eye tube. The tube linup is: 6A7, 6D6, 76, 25L6, 25Z6, 140R8, 607G. The eye tube is a 6U5. The tubes are all glass envelopes, no metal. The "140R8" and "607G" really have me stumped. I'm not sure if they could be early ballast tubes, or what. Also, there is no resistive line cord. Thanks in advance for your help...Dave

Dave,
Can't help with a schematic, but the 140R8 is a ballast tube and the 607G should be 6Q7G.

:Many thanks, Carl. I've gone thru the Continental schematics and couldn't find a match there. I'm scratching my head on this one...Dave

Take a look-see to confirm if this schematic is close enough for you to work with on that unit, the variant being the output tube used and the rectifier.
I was just referencing in respect to any units that happened to use that ballast tube that you gave as being in the unit.
Try referencing the bottom schematic of the two given on the page:

I have the same radio, unfortunately no schematic, it was made in the "Plant A' in Chicago. My radio only makes a buzzing sound when I power it up despite recapping and tube checks, I cannot seem to get the eye tube to light up green, though the heater is lit.::Dave
