Wondering about Rectifiers

Schematic Calls for a 5Z4

Chassis has stamped base 5Y4G

My tube book says sub for 5Z4
is either 5Y3 or 5Y4

Are all three of these interchangeable with no modifications? Any of the 3 better than the others?
I have lots of 5Y3's on hand and only one other
5Z4 that I would like to use in another set coming up.
Any vewy sage advice for me?

remains as asked for substitution...
I was looking at a Zenith Chassis that I will be
getting to next. I heard today you were not suppose to
double-task like that because it is easy to get confused... guess they're right.. :O)

:Bob 5Z4 and 5Y3 have same pinout and are 350V max at 125 ma. 5Y4 has differant pinout but same ratings. Plates on 5Y4 3 & 5, Htr/C 7-8. PL

So the 5Z4 and 5Y3 have same pinout and are 350V max at 125 ma....so this DOES mean they are directly
substitutable with each other?
