I know you do not do German Radios, but my problem is simple: The physical tube complement of my EMUD Rekord Junior 196 does not match the layout chart on the radio back cover, and one socket is empty (tube missing). I am sure the set has not been rewired. Any suggestions? Thanks....

Carl, the confusing thing about the tube layout diagram is that it tries to suggest the position of one the tubes is in the test socket. Once you told me that it wasn't a tube socket, it made more sense. One other thing, though, the FM section is kind of weak. Tubes are good, replaced a few bad caps, AM is strong. Any thoughts? Thanks again.....
