In a GE E-95 with color tuning, what color should the bulbs be - which color goes with centered tuning and which goes with off-centered? Most of the bulbs have been replaced with clear ones - currently only the center one is colored (green)...

Red and green are the two colors. I think the schematic indicates what goes where. You can make your own using glass dyes available at your local hobby store. I use Delta air-dry PermEnamel transparent glass paint.

Thanks Rene.... I found on an internet search - center tuned is green (3 bulbs) and off center tuning is red (4 bulbs)

You can also get colored bulbs in most sizes from suppliers of pin ball machine parts, but probably more costly than dipping them in dye. Whatever you use, be sure it can take high temps. I restored a GE E105 with the Colorama tuning lights, but don't remember exactly the order of colors. If yours has 7 lights, take a look at the schematic for the E105: http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByModel/769/M0007769.pdf
It shouldn't be too hard to figure out which are in series (green) or parallel (red).

You can see the effect in this picture of my GE105.

I have four green and three red using "colored caps" for light bulbs obtained from a pinball machine supply house. You can also use glass paint obtained from a hobby shop such as Micahel's or Ben Franklin.

My set has G R G R G R G.
