Grantline Belmont radio?

I am restoring a radio that I thought was a version of the popular belmont table top 6D111. Took a closer look at the service decal on the bottom and it says it is a GRANTLINE. The chassis is a Belmont chassis. I know because I am doing a 6D111 simultaneously. The GRANTLINE decal is long gone. I have repainted the radio and it looks real nice. Love Mohawk lacguer products. Anyway, looking for a new GRANTLINE decal but can't find one at my usual spots. RadioDaze says they do not have that one. So, does anyone know the story why a belmont radio has a GRANTLINE name on it? Interested to know why. Would it be a mortal sin to stick a Belmont radio decal on the finished product? Real nice sounding radio. I think because of extra room compared to the 6D111 case. Are GRANTLINE radios sot after as much as the belmont sister model? Thanks everyone. Just wondering.

nj,
You can buy clear water side decal material on line, and print a new one, if you have a reasonably good picture/photo to copy from.

Thank you Marv. That is a great idea. I think with the internet now and all the pictures of radios around I can find a good image of one and either copy it or just match the font as close as possible in photoshop. If I find out the original has gold foil like the belmont though I might just run with the gold foil belmont decal. Really adds to the look. Anyway, I did find out that Grantline was a name of a five and dime store chain way back. Evidently belmont would make radios and stick store names on them as a brand of that store. Neat.
