Wonder if somone can help me,I keep running into cans in radios that have the value on can with square or triangle,but on the bottom of the can there are no marks.

Clay: It's the triangles, etc., on the bottom of the can that you can't find? They are usually punched into the brown plastic disk covering the bottom of the cap. I've never encountered such caps without the markings.

But if not, refer to the schematic - by tracing the wires, you can identify which cap value is connected where.

Right on, Doug. They might be a little hard to find at first, but they are there if you look for a little while. They will be right where the terminal comes out of the cap, right where the brown insulator is next to the terminal.
