Toronto's AM 740

I'm getting interference from another station on my 30's tube radios, don't recall this bad before. AM 740 would drift once in awhile. This is even happening on my JVC and Sony tuners. It's bad. I don't like this one bit.

I enjoy listening to 740 here in Rochester. Good music and programming. I haven't had reception problems of note, but will listen for it. Maybe undergoing xmitter/antenna maintainence?

Hi Bill,
I have had long termp recption problems in two instances during the past few years on AM. Both times it has been traced to switching power supplies.
One power supply had a strong peak at 690KHz, splattering nicely to 740, and much of the rest of AM, too. You may have a switcher with a peak at 740.
Think of what has come into the house lately, and been plugged in.

Best Regards,

Bill
