I haven't had one like that yet but if you've ruled out the tubes I would probably start by checking the B+ supply for correct voltage after the field coil and on the plate of the output tube. If it were missing for example on the plate of the output, you might be looking at the output transformer as a problem. Would also check the obvious things like a wire not connected to the speaker or open voice coil. There are a few coupling capacitors (31 and 32 on the print) that I suppose could be open, but most times I believe they are leaky rather than open.
:Hello everyone. I just started restoring this radio and all tubes check fine, but I get nothing out of the speaker, I have not re-capped this yet, but never encountered a "no sound from the speaker" situation before. Is it possible that bypass caps are open somewhere? Any suggestion would be appreciated. Most of my restorations have been new caps and new tubes and the radios work fine for the most part.
