Is there a specific glue for syringes, other than carpenter's glue?

I use the stainable Elmer's glue (since it is not made in China like the regular glue form them is. It works better and can be sanded/stained if it gets on other parts of the cabinet.

Some folks recommended a fabric glue but I have not tried it.
