NeutraDyne Audio Transformer

I have a five tube Silvertone NeutraDyne type receiver. I'm using the wafer replacements and dummy 201 tubes. The rf section, detector, and first audio stage work well and I clearly receive BC stations. However, the last audio interstage transformer is bad making the last stage non-functional.

Does anyone know of a source of replacement interstage transformers?

Thank you for your help and Happy Thanksgiving.

AES, tubesandmore.com, carries replacement audio interstage transformers.

You could also use R/C coupling. Add a resistor across the open winding, 47 - 100K will work. Connect a .1 mfd cap from plate of the driving stage to grid of the next stage.

You can buye a replacement interstage transformer from Antique electronic supply. You can even save your old iron and case and use that with the new winding if you want to be sneeky. Cheers RichU
