General Electric K-105 schematic
9/4/2008 3:11:21 PMBasil H.
According to its page on radiomuseum.org (the only mention I have been able to find for it on the internet), the chassis for the GE K105 is the same as RCA Victor model 261.

Is this correct?

The GE K105 schematic is not available from this site, but the RCA Victor model 261 is.

Basil,
It is correct, I have A G.E K105 and used the RCA schematic and it is the same. The only differences are cosmetic-dial face, cabinet etc.

Jon,

Thanks for your quick reply! Are there any pitfalls to avoid or oddball considerations with this particular chassis, or should I expect the usual routine of capacitor and out of tolerance component replacement?

Thanks once again for your help, it is most sincerely appreciated.

Basil

Basil,
You should not run into anything unusual if it has not been altered by someone in the past. Mine was as the schematic indicated and once recapped and resisters checked, it was a wonderful radio to listed to.
best of luck,
Jon.
