:Am trying to bring back a crosley 515,found some caps I havnt seen before 8-450 and a 6-450 dont see any polorazation to tell me they are electrolytics, can anyone help.
: Thanks,Clay
I Should mention that there are a couple of 2 section caps in this chassis with 1 wire in each end and a strap to ground in the center (7Y & 7Z, 8Y & 8Z, 10Y & 10Z) these can be replaced with individual caps.

Clay: looks like those 2 are in one can from the schematic (http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByModel/373/M0003373.pdf). You can use electrolytics there. You might want to use 10 mfd for better filtering. The 6Z designation on the schematic for the 8 mfd cap, the positive end goes to the rectifier cathode, and the negative to the common negative (heavy line) which is B-. The 6Y cap negative goes to common negative B-, and the positive to the B+ line.
