Found two radios this morning. A Silvertone with no clear model # just serial #241873. It's a "Highboy"? with six legs around base of wooden cabinet. About 4" dia. dial glass. BC and SW bands. 14 Tube line up is 3x78, 80, 6x45, 3x37 and a 41.

Other is a RCA Victrola and only numbers I find are RC354C, S/N1277, MI6718 and 8020F. BC and SW bands. The cabinet is 42" long X 19.5" tall and 13.5" deep. Has a phonograph in pull out drawer front bottom center. There are about 32 chrome 3 position toggle switches and 10 black toggle switches positioned on both sides on front of cabinet. I didn't do a tube line up on this one. Was hoping someone would recognize physical description. Thanks for any help!

:Well Lan after much more research I've decided that the 1831 is the closest there is to this radio. However the chassis layout has suttle differences. Tube locations are different on the radio then on the 1831 layout. Also the 1831 layout has a fifth knob on the center of the chassis. My radio only has four shafts and associated knobs. There is no "Station Selector" shaft or knob in the center of my radio as on the 1831 layout. The black, red, and green antenna wires are there on my chassis as on the 1831 layout but I have no "Hum Control" on the back of the chassis. I'm still really stumped.

The station selector is the main tuning knob, it tunes the radio.

:This is true and mine is not on center as shown on the 1831 chassis layout. Mine is one of the only four knobs on the radio and it is off to the right of center if looking at the front of the chassis.
