Having trouble with a philco 116 and I can't find the schematic for it. I see the 116x but not the 116. Is there a big difference?

:I'm not 100% sure but the X model may have been an export version of the radio. The X often indicates this. If this is so on your radio the difference will more than likely be in the power circuit and possibly the use of a different rectifier tube. Someone turned me onto Chuck Schwark at the Philco Repair Bench and if anyone would have the info you need it will be him. For about $7 you get a really nice package of material for your radio.
