The ac cord is gone and I have not tried to power it up yet. There is circuit board and valves (tubes) in this set.

: Do you have any other model numbers that might help? Have you opened it up yet? Some of these European radios had a schematic and instructions stuffed in a pocket inside the cabinet. What symptoms do or don't you have? Valve or solid state? Telefunken, Opta, Korting, Becker, Grundig and others shared similar circuits that may help to decipher what's going on. If the radio sat a long time, it may be as simple as oxidized or corroded contacts or connections. Check voltage change/battery-AC/on-off switches,etc.
