Can someone help me to identify the year of a FIRESTONE 4-B-43 car radio that work on 6 volts

Hi,
Look at the tubes that are in the rado. If they are octal, you have one that dates from the fourties through about 1955.

If it has the minature types, 6BA6, etc, it too dates from about the same time frame.

If it uses the older types like 41, 6A7, etc, it dates from the thirties to just before the war.

You may have a date on several locations, The electrolytic cans, the vibrator itself is often dated as to the year it was tested, a patent listing, there may even be a production code stamped inside on the chassis.
