I have schematics for the model 25 with battery only and with AC. but not with batteries and a battery charger using a liquid fill jar as a rectifier. Can you help??

Who made the charger? Sounds like a later addition. Radio Receptor made a power supply / amplifier for these Radiolas (with tube rectifiers) and perhaps others did too, but I would suspect that someone bought a Balkite or other electrolytic charger and mounted it in there.

Alan, no identification on this unit, Looks RCA all the way. the rectifier is a "repleno rectifier cell"
which looks like a glass fruit jar. there are 5 glass batteries (one large and 4 small) can you aim me in a direction where I might find an answer??

If there are five jars, that sounds like a Philco A-B supply without its cover. The "repleno" jar would be a later replacement, I think. The large jar is the A rectifier and the four small ones are a bridge for the B supply. Some had a 6-volt glass storage battery in there too.
