Can anyone help with the following;
I am looking for some pictures of a Stromberg Carlson Model 84B. The tuning meter is broken and I could realy use a close up of the tuning meter (I think it can be rebuilt).

Also, the coupling transformer connected to the grids of the audio output tubes is black, and charcoal like! Any suggestions for a replacement?

Is there supposed to be a glass in front of the dial? What about in front of the meter?

Any other tips from anyone that has tackled one of these would be appreciated.

Gary- I tried to find a picture of your set on the web,but with no luck. I wish I could be of more help. I would think that there would be a dial and meter glass as they wouldn't want these exposed.
