Voltage drop of a selenium rectifier increases over time. Most were used directly off the AC line giving around 120 volts DC output under load. Exact voltage depends on the circuit.
You can replace a selenium rectifier with silicon diode. 1N4004 - 1N4007 will usually be good substitutes. Add a small series resistor with the silicon diode to reduce voltage.

:Radio has been recapped but the voltage seems low according to Sche....Does anyone know what the voltage should be directly off the Sel rect????
