You can use just about any speaker with an AK 20. If a modern one, need a small output transformer.
5 - CX301A are possibily the original tubes in the AK. Later replacements would be marked 01A and be ST shaped. These radios aren't hard to get working but audio interstage transformers are often open. They can be replaced.
Older speakers are high impedance and use a coil of fine wire. This wire may be open in the WE speaker? The coil can be rewound but might be a lot of work?

:A local shop has this speaker for sale. I checked the screws going into the speaker and there is no continuity. There are 4 screws. The lead ins connect to the outer of the 4 screws. With no continuity the speaker wires must be disconnected--right. There is An AK 20 C also and it has 5 Cunningham CX301As that look like they came with the set when it was new. I would like to have the set but the speaker might be a problem. What do you guys think? The AK is $80.
If the speaker has 4 terminals, it must be a dynamic speaker with a field coil. That isn't what you want for a 20C, even if it weren't burned out.

:Thanks for advice. I would not know how to hook an output transformer up to a modern speaker for the AK 20.
