I need to recap the B600 but I notice the caps are white and look ceramic. (ELMENCO) Do I still recap those? Please help....

Generally,I only replace wax paper and electrolytic caps. Ceramic,mica and plastic-dielectric types are usually long lived. What issues or symptoms are you experiencing with this nice radio? The Zenith T/O used higher quality components than most common tabletop radios did. Even though it was not waterproof,many ads showed it in an outdoor setting. It was somewhat rugged. Many were taken on camping trips and to the beach as a battery powered portable.

Tony: That T/O model was built 1959-62. I honestly wouldn't worry about replacing any of the caps, except for electrolyics.
What are the values of the caps in question? If they are small, they may be silver-mica. Doug
