I must have internet BO or maybe its my name (2 four letter words) Having requested several times, a picture, hint or possible site for info on this set, but not one response. Surely I haven't found the only RCA 86BK in the entire nation. The electronics are done, but need to order decals for knobs, but without a pix, I'm lost. Originals were long gone.

I have a picture of it in my RCA Red Book on page 342B but I cannot see any decals on it. There's just not enough detail. This set has two tubes I have never seen in a radio in person, the 19 and the 30. It's also a battery floor model.
I can scan the page if you would like to see it. Maybe if the scan is made larger it will reveal the decals.

I am not sure if this is your radio, but this link takes you a site that list it as RCA BK 86. http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/rca_86k.html I often try this site when looking for a picture or trying to identify a radio. I have not had any luck regitering with the site for more information, but you might be able to. Hope it helps.

No luck either with BK86 or 86BK. Didn't try registering, and maybe that is why. Been to that site a while back, got frustrated, gave up and washed it off my list.
