Got my A.K. model 37 up and running by replaceing Power supply caps,all by-pass caps,all resistors and 2 tubes..A 226 and 280.now the radio comes up but onlt tunes half the dial. it tunes from 1000 to 1600 on the top end but nothing on the low end from 1100 down...Any ideas?

See if your tuning capacitor plates are shorting.
