Anyone got reliable lever settings for 19 and 30 tubes?

Hey Marv:

I checked my TV11 roll chart and I have lever settings for the 19, but not for the 30. Here's the 19: Filament Voltage=2.0, F=1, P=4, Load=3, Fil Cont=1-6

Thanks this'll get me half way there. Checked the CD data you sent me, but nothing for either. My old roll chart doesn't list either, and even used a 1B4 settings for a 1A4 too.

Found the #19 on my roll chart too, buried between 14xxx and 15xxx tubes, not in sequential order as I was expecting, but P=4 is just 1/2 of the dual triode, so I added P=3 for the second half, and both halves tested good. Set up the #30 same as the 19 (P=3), but got 50 (weak) at a load of 3 and 56 (good) at load of 6. Guess I'll order new one, just in case

Marv, unless you are having trouble attributable to a weak 30, I fear replacing the tube may be a waste.

Thanks for the quick response. The lack of a triple batt pack and bias cells eliminated any early testing of the set, so I'm just getting together a probable parts list for the owner. I know all the fake mica caps in black molded cases are bad, because the cases all have splits. My tester doesn't have a setup for the #30, so I set the levers like a couple other 4 pin tube pinouts. Don't know what the load setting (0-10) on my TV-11 represents, 0 to 10K or 10 M, but others were set at 3 with good results. Had to use 6 for a good result on this tube.

For what its worth, I did some research last night and I found some lever settings for 30 tubes on the Superior tube tester. Fil Voltage=2.0, F=1, P=3, Load=4.
