RCA Victor B&W TV Model 2-T-51
10/24/2000 12:44:28 AMMark Dorman
I have recently aquired an RCA Victor B&W TV Model# 2-T-51.
The set is in good physical condition but does not work.
I believe the TV is from the 50's but would like to know for sure
what year it is, also any info on how and where to test tubes
and any information schematics would be very helpful. Thanks

Hi
Best place for schematics is
www.samswebsite.com
111-11 is the Sams Photofact, which places it about mid-1952
Tube testers are no longer found in the corner drug stores- Pac-Man moved them out about 20 years ago.
You might want to start looking for one of your own. Often you can find them at various venues online, otherwise there are numrous HAM radio operators that may have a spare for sale.
If you need specific parts other than tubes, you can try :

John McPherson,
Thank you very much for the information. This will
be a good start for me. I've always been interested in
older TVs and this is my first shot at it and don't have
many clues about getting info. This is a big help. If
you run across anything else you feel may be helpful feel
free to email me at ibnutz@swbell.net or use this forum.

Thanks again,
Mark Dorman
