Hi Nick,
Your radio is listed in Sam's 69-7.
However, it doesn't have any details on the dial cord either.
Sorry,
Carl T
Thanks for that info Carl. I had thought of ordering a copy of the Sams sheet but as it doesn't have the info that i need, it wouldn't benefit me.
Nick - The dial string arrangement on my C-800 appears to be the factory original. So, I pulled the chassis from the case and made a diagram for you. It is posted on my website, www.VacuumTubeEra.net in .pdf format.
Look on the page labeled "Reference Materials - 1940's".
Have also included a photo to show a little more detail.

::Hi.
::I recently acquired one of these AM/FM sets and amongst it's many problems has a broken dial cord. Does anyone have a diagram of the stringing arrangement or advice on a source of more information please? I have downloaded the Rider pages 20-5 & 20-6 for the schematic and alignment (many thanks for that!!) but it has no details of the dial cord. Any advice and help would be appreciated.
::Thanks in advance,
::Nick
