Loop antenna reconnection methods advice needed
3/18/2008 11:41:53 AMBob E.
I have a Philco 46-420 like the one shown in the eBay auction below. It shows the back side where I am wondering how to reattach the loop antenna. In the past someone had used masking tape after it had fallen loose. I want to make it look nice and wondered what options you might offer. It may be a little trickier since this is a bakelite set?
thanks, Bob E.

Bob,
If you don't get a better/quicker answer, I'll remove the back of my 48-460, take a couple pix and jot down wiring info.

Marv,
No need to do that. I know the connection scheme. I am
looking for technique on how to adhere the loop to the inside of the bakelite walls. The loop was only taped to the walls when I got it and it was yellowing, brittle and coming loose beside looking bad. Carlos has
a suggestion below using hot melt or RTV glue.
