I need to ID a radio so I may try to work on it. On a back plate it said licensed under RAC and a model number R-4 and pat No.1936362 But I dont think it was made by RCA just licensed to somone else.The tube line up is a 25Z5 an 83 an 6C6 and a 6D6 and it has a resistor type line cord. Can anyone help id this radio or refer me to one that has that same tube lin-up and resistance cord so I can find a schematic. Thanking everyone in advance for any help.

Should be a 43, not an 83.

Look under 'Have Radio I am trying to identify' under this month's subjects. I found a radio with your tube set that was close to his octal model.
