Old mid 50s motorola table radio

Hi everyone, I have been working on a mid 50s motorola radio with a circuit board instead of a metal chassis. When I recieved it, it didnt work at all. I replaced some tubes and replaced the caps. Im still learning but I was wondering, what would be the culprit now, the tubes light up, and when connecting the speaker you can very very faintly hear the tuner moving thru the frequencys, but other than that nothing. HELP?

How many capacitors did you replace? What is the model number? You should be able to get a loud hum out of the amplifier if you touch the center terminal of the volume control. If not, then there may be amplifier trouble. If the amplifier is working well, then the RF section either needs an alignment or some part in the RF section needs attention, such as a resistor, tube, or RF transformer (IF transformer, antenna, etc., ...most likely IF transformer), and possibly a capacitor needs attention if you didn't replace any capacitors in the RF section. If the radio uses ceramic disc capacitors, they almost never fail, so you should test them for shorts and replace them only if necessary.
