The Atwater Kent Model 55 was made in 1929. There are two versions, 55 and 55C. The 55 was in an enclosed metal box while 55C was open. They were installed into cabinets by different manufacturers.

: Does anyone know what year Atwater Kent radio was made. It is in a cabinet made by Knoxville T&C Company. set no. AK55, 60 cycle radio another number on it is k3055.
