Philco Radio/Phonograph
9/25/1998 11:46:33 AMShelley Tancil
I have an old Philco radio with a pull out front that
houses a turntable.
The whole cabinet is about the size of a jukebox.
I am trying to find out what it's worth.

The label in the back reads:

MODEL 41-608
CODE 122
115 Volts A.C.
60 Cycles
75 Watts

One of the tubes is dated 1949.
The radio works once it's warmed up.
I'd say it's in fair to good condition.
Any ideas on where I could turn to find the
date, details, worth...

Thank you in advance,
Shelley

Hi Shelley
The year of your Philco is easy. Philco used the first two numbers in the model as the year. Your Philco was made in 1941. The Collectors Guide to Antique Radios shows a price of $135.00 but the price would depend more on condition.

I have a old philco radio/phonograph too. I would like to find someone who would be interested in buying mine. it is 1951 model with a real nice wood cabinet. It seems to be in good shape inside the phonograph, the arm and needle is still in good shape. all the tubes are still there.I would love to hear from anyone who might be interested in my radio/phonograph. When I plug it in it takes a while to warm up. Thank you, Loretta LSPLUS@aol.com
