I have a 1950's metal 10" portable TV model # TS103N that only will light the tubes, no sound, no picture. Any idea on where a schematic is available and how to start to restore this aqua/and white 1950's classic? Thanks

Hi,
Sams might have a photofact for this (www.samswebsite.com), otherwise the "seat of the pants approach" is to look at voltages in the low voltage sections, and screen votages of the kinescope.

The filter caps are probably in need of replacement, and would be the first things I would replace before even firing it up for that test. If you get the same results, and "B" voltages present, I would concentrate on the Horizontal and HV sections.

There is a Sams Photofact #351-1 that, according to the Sams index, is for your set currently on ebay with no bids and an opening bid of $1.99. http://cgi.ebay.aol.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=459538090

Hope this helps.
