console radio ...radiotrope neutrodyne hookup?

Hello, while I am debating on which antenna system to build for the house, I thought I would hookup the console radio I have. The radio chassis itself is veryyyyyy long. 9 tubes to be exact. 2 71a tubes for output. An 80 for the rectifier then 26, 26, 26, 26,24, 26 then the final 71a tubes. the chassis is about 10 inches wide and 3 feet long..This thing looks like the thing spock built on a bed while on earth in star trek. The power supply is on the shelf below.......The problem here is I lost the schematic on it and cant remember where I found it. The tag on the radio says radiotrope neutrodyne elecric reciever then us radio and television corp. It only gives me a serial number. I cant hook up the speaker because I forgot how the wires go(not original speaker) which I bought to replace the bad original one. If anyone has this schematic or knows where to get it I would greatly appreciate it. I just wish I had documented how I hooked up the speaker because the speaker I have is a philco one and I needed 5 allegator clip leads to hook it up properly. The terminals on the board say speaker(2 of them) and phono(2 of them). I think I was supposed to hook 1 terminal of the field to the speaker terminal but not sure.

:Ok I found the schematic here I think, case or model 80. The only difference is the 27 tube instead of the 24 tube. Now just how to wire up the speaker. It has a speaker plug on the speaker with tube terminals on it but the 2 thin ones are an inch away or more from the 2 large "tube element" terminals

:Update..I dont think the phono terminals are supposed to go to the b+ voltage.....they must have been for phono at one time but not anymore, looks like they are used to connect the speaker field coil, so the center tap of the audio transformer is supposed to go to pin 9 on the power supply. and...fyi when you move into a new house, make sure the power supply is bolted to the radio wooden cabinet. I just discovered why its not working..half of the wires on the terminals are pulled out...easy fix

Look through the schematics and see if you can find one that matches yours for tube count and line up. I would start at the low end of the model numbers and work upwards. 20's - early 30's for those types.

:The radio now lives. I was right. The 2 phono jacks have been reconnected underneath to use the powersupply b+ to run it through the field coil. I also had to remove and replace the old power supply wires as they were fraying. What suprized me is they used rubber and cloth wires in the same loom.
The only thing I am wondering about now is the radio gets loud and soft. volume control is touchy as in you turn it up and it doesnt increase in sound till almost a half then as you turn the knob, the volume increases rapidly......I think there 2 capacitors in there to ground that I havnt replaced, so its either those caps or the volume control itself.
One other note is the dial lamp flickers bright and dim just like my philco 90 does...connection somewhere I guess

:Ok I do have another question and that is the radio sounds like its a little muffled, kinda like it just needs more treble. Is there a specific cap that would cause this to be more base sounding? I noticed that the schematic doesnt give values for the caps, unless I missed it.
