How to test a Mike

I have several microphones that I want to sell, but I don't know if they work or not. Is there a way to test them without plugging them into a radio? How can I determine the ohms of a mike? Most have the push-to-talk button, but some do not.

There is no way you can test a microphone for proper output without using an amplifier.

This would be analogous to testing a car engine simply by looking at it.

Crystal microphones are essentially capacitive so you can't test those and dynamic ones à la Shure can test good on am ohm-meter but worth crap once plugged-in.
